Wine Making Courses - Home Made Wine Making
Home made wine making has really come into the spotlight. There are wine making courses popping up everywhere. Did you know universities now have full programs around how to make wine at home and grow your own fruit for wine making? I was looking for a way to improve my own wine making skills and found so much information that I didn't know was out there.

Take It Up A Notch

I have been having a great time with my wine making experiments. But now, I want to really get serious and improve my skills to a level that are near professional. Don't get me wrong, I still want the fun and enjoyment---I don't want to get that serious.

I just keep having little things happen that I don't understand. I am not having the consistency that I want in my wine making. So this is why I started my search for solid, easy wine making courses. I wanted to take my home made winemaking skills up a notch---or two.

The Magic Is In The Details

Honestly, I have been having such a rewarding time exploring this hobby that I am considering finding some kind of work in the wine industry. But that would be way down the line. Right now it's enough for me to know, step by step, how to do and WHY I am doing the things I do to make a beautiful bottle of wine.

I want it to be more than just an accident that this particular batch turned out good. I think that with a course I will get more of the details that have been missing for me. I have some nice recipes, for sure, but the success doesn't come in the recipe. Success comes in the process.

I Want A Wine Coach

So, in my search for wine making courses, I knew that I wanted it NOW and that I didn't want to go somewhere to have to take the classes. The local brew shop had been offering classes that looked interesting but sometimes I have to work late or run the kids to soccer. So, it seemed that this wasn't a good option for me.

I wanted a home made wine making coach/mentor right here in my own kitchen with me. Someone very experienced but also sensitive to the newer wine makers needs---meaning he would make it so EASY for me to learn. I wanted someone to help me go from ok wine maker to excellent wine maker.

The Proof Is In The Tasting

It has been about a year now and many large batches of wine later. I found what I was looking for in my wine making course and my home made wine making coach. He has been with me through thick and thin----or I should say through sweet and sour (yuk).

Whenever I couldn't figure things out he was there with an encouraging word and a solution to my problem. I now make truly wonderful wine batch after batch. What a great feeling to open my own bottles of wine and KNOW that the first sniff and sip will be a little bit of heaven.
