The Truth Of Routine Crushes Skill
The 2011 NFL season started on September 8, 2011. The weekend before the opening day was the final day of cuts to get the roster down to 53 players. Many teams had to get rid of 25 players. Why do some players make it while other don't? This is a great example for why routine crushes skill.

If you get this far to the final cuts of making a NFL team, you have skills for American Football. Every now and then, you hear of a player like Danny Amendola. He was cut by two teams. Then in 2010, he led the NFL in all-purpose yards. There are players who have a lot of skill that gets the axe on the cut day.

While there are many factors that go into why a player does not make the team. One reason is routine. This is a great example of saying that habit trumps talent.

If you look at many players in the NFL and athletes in general, they have routines. They work out, work on important skills, watch film, and other things to prepare their mind and body for the NFL. These routines have allowed average players excel and talented players be the best in the game.

The opposite applies here. There are many talented players who have more talent than the average players, but they never sniff playing in the NFL. The reason for this is some of these players do not have routines. They do not do all the stuff that is required to make it in the NFL.

How does this relate to marketing?

In The Greatest Salesman In The World, Og Mandino, states that habit is the key to the locked door to success or the unlocked door to failure. So, our routines are what will make us or break us.

The other part to the power of our routines are we are all slaves to our routines. So if you have bad routines, you will follow it down the road of destruction. However, if you have good routines, this will be your road to success.

In network marketing what are the good routines that one should have?

The first step is to pick out some marketing strategies that you enjoy and like doing. This can be doing articles, blogging, pay-per-click videos, social media, and almost any other things. These are the marketing strategies that bring you leads or connections to new people. This is why internet marketing is so great, the new connections really are unlimited.

In order to create these new connections, you need a daily plan that you follow. As you do this daily plan, you will get better at the strategies and faster. They will become a pleasure to do, as they become a pleasure, and you will want to do them. They are then your routine.

It does not matter your skill level right now. Routine is much more important. You can have all the skills in the world, but still not succeed in marketing. You can have no skills and still succeed if you have the correct routine.

As you can see, practice trounces ability .
