Stand Out in a Crowd: Use Prize Wheels
A sudden burst of murmuring breaks out in the conference room across the hall. One businessman says to another, "What do you suppose is going on over there?"

"Well," begins the other gentleman, "whatever it is, I wish I was in there instead of being stuck in this boring meeting!" The two men are reprimanded by superiors for ignoring the presentation.

If this sounds like the typical business meeting at the company, perhaps knowing what the attraction was in the other room would be of some interest. While Company A was carrying on an unproductive, boring meeting on sales strategies, Company B decided that a more interactive approach might be more productive in relaying new marketing technologies to their employees.

Prize wheels are not at all uncommon at fairs, amusement parks, and television prize shows but is a rare sight to behold in the confines of the conference room. Why? Many business men and women fail to see the relevance of "fun" activities during a meeting. What could be more engaging than a shot at winning a company coffee mug? A well integrated presentation can easily make great use of prize wheels to include the audience into the presentation.

"To recap, what is the most effective marketing tool in this company's arsenal?" the presenter chooses a young marketing executive, waving him to the front of the room. His answer earns him a spin on prize wheels. With a flip of his wrist, the young man spins the wheel and awaits his fate. He is fully aware that the correct spot could earn him an extra day of paid vacation. With coworkers cheering him on, the man watches in disbelief as the prize wheel reveals that his prize is a company pen, just one space over from the coveted extra day of paid vacation.

In truth, this young man may not have participated in the presentation if not for the prospect of spinning the game wheel. Three thousand miles away, a successful company in Japan participates in a morale building corporate event. The game wheel was suggested by a friend of the company's CEO and appears to be the hit of the event. While the prizes are not extravagant, the employees thoroughly enjoy participating in a game they have seen so often on television. These two companies, because of forward thinking and marketing savvy, decided that a wheel would directly improve their ability to interact with employees and clients. They were justified in their assumptions.

Game wheels have also been proven to be quite effective in drawing in prospective customers, too. Who can turn down a little fun in these tough times? These amazingly effective presentation aids come in four sizes: Super (44"), Standard (31"), Adaptable (31"), and mini (20.5"). Standard is the most common choice among companies. These game wheels can be used as a table top game or made into a floor model with the use of "extension" legs. For traveling convenience, both the standard and the mini game wheels have specially designed hard travel cases.

Imagine the number of meetings a smart business presenter can turn around with these reusable (cards can be printed and inserted into slots on wheel edge), convenient, and enjoyable game wheels.
