Spin to Win Game to Increase Sales

Spin to Win Game to Increase Sales
Managing a retail store can be more than a full time job. Between maintaining employee motivation, keeping the paperwork at a manageable level, and watching out for theft and fraud, finding time to successfully market the business can be tough. The problem is, without putting an emphasis on marketing, there will likely be no money to pay employees, no paperwork to handle, and no merchandise to be stolen. Without an adequate supply of customers, no business will survive.

Though this is common sense, keeping priorities in the proper order can be tough. Often, managers find themselves so caught up in the urgent demands of day to day business that they have no time to be proactive in their advertising campaigns. The result: a failing business. So, how can a spin to win campaign keep customers visiting your store?

1. Purchase a prize wheel. These high quality wheels come in a wide variety of sizes to suit all of ones marketing needs. Simply evaluating the store layout will help any manager determine what size they can handle. With a little planning and an internet connection, finding the right prize wheel should present no challenge at all. Remember to find a product that you can reuse at a later stage in your marketing campaigns. Look for something that allow customization of prize wedges and ease of assembly. Some online vendors offer free templates for prize wedges.

2. Make an event of it. While a prize wheel can help existing customers find a little fun in a dull day, the purpose of buying the wheel is to find more customers. Calling the newspaper, radio, and local television stations and letting them know that every new customer that comes to the store will get a chance to win a free computer, 3D television set, or stereo system will likely result in some free publicity. Be sure to ask for the human interest editor. In addition, use free resources like Twitter, Facebook and YouTube to get your event information exposed online. Prepare to give good discounts during the weeks leading up to your event so that your customers will take notice of your branding and remember you when the grand event is hosted. Give your customers a reason to come into your store and spend their money with you.

3. Make if fun and memorable. Using a prize wheel for your marketing campaign is about adding fun and interactivity to your events. By allowing your customers to spin the wheel to win something gives you time to promote new products, new services and new company promises while they are enjoying some fun. When customers are enjoying themselves, they are more likely to listen to your presentation and more likely to associate "good feelings" with your company brand. Seriously address the issues that caused your customers to stop visiting your store and assure them that the issues have been resolved completely. You have to win their trust again. With a little creativity and a focus on fun, any manager can make a tremendous success of their spin to win campaign.

4. Go above and beyond. If the prize offered is a brand new computer, throw in a set of high quality speakers. By going above and beyond the promises made during the spin to win campaign, consumers will realize that they can put their trust in your store. Give your customers a taste of the kind of treatment they should expect in your store.
