Managing a retail store can be more than a full time job. Between maintaining employee motivation, keeping the paperwork at a manageable level, and watching out for theft and fraud, finding time to successfully market the business can be tough. The problem is, without putting an emphasis on marketing, there will likely be no money to pay employees, no paperwork to handle, and no merchandise to be stolen. Without an adequate supply of customers, no business will survive.

Though this is common sense, keeping priorities in the proper order can be tough. Often, managers find themselves so caught up in the urgent demands of day to day business that they have no time to be proactive in their advertising campaigns. The result: a failing business. When customers are enjoying themselves, they are more likely to listen to your presentation and more likely to associate "good feelings" with your company brand. Seriously address the issues that caused your customers to stop visiting your store and assure them that the issues have been resolved completely. You have to win their trust again. With a little creativity and a focus on fun, any manager can make a tremendous success of their spin to win campaign.

4. Go above and beyond. If the prize offered is a brand new computer, throw in a set of high quality speakers. By going above and beyond the promises made during the spin to win campaign, consumers will realize that they can put their trust in your store. Give your customers a taste of the kind of treatment they should expect in your store.
