In the world of
Atlanta search engine optimization,
content is considered highly valued. That is to say, Google puts high value on relevant, valid content and will only show results that are likely to satisfy what a person is searching for. When people look for information or reviews on a product, they want to see content that will help them reach their goal. With the growing competition, SEO has change dramatically over the last decade. Search engines, too, had to change to accommodate the increase in websites. Google, as an example, determines the value and relevancy of a website by "reading" the content and picking out particular keywords. Article writing, then, is one of the best ways to optimize a web page for a particular keyword.
Articles are written differently in three ways.
1. Readers have changed. Years ago, articles were pretty much only written as a way to instruct others. Many times, they were informative, somewhat formal and they covered broad topics that might interest a general reader. At that point, the internet was full of information that would have fit nicely in magazines or newspapers. When the needs of the consumers began to change, however, article writing had to change with it. No longer are articles long, boring and filled with broad subject material. As a matter of fact, longer articles typically do not perform well in Google because they offer a lower relevancy for a particular keyword. Rather, Google is now looking for articles that are casual in tone, specifically talking about one in-depth subject and offer useful information to an internet researcher.
2. The Demands are Different. Article writing demands have altered the way articles are written for SEO purposes. Now, you cannot simply write whatever they want to write, and post it up in multiple locations and claim to have lots of unique and valuable content on the web. Google is well aware of the fact that content can be duplicated. Thus, 100 posts of the same article is only considered one original article to Google. The other 99 merely strengthen the value of the first. Therefore, you will have to write more than one article to be an effective writer. Google wants unique, fresh, and innovative content. There is a strategy to writing effective article. It is more an art than a science.
Once you have mastered the art of article writing, you are well on your way to becoming a professional search engine optimizer.
3. The technology has developed. The advent of genius search engines, namely Google, has had the greatest impact in influencing how articles are written. Over the years, Google has developed the ability to "read" the content on a web page. Rather than just determining the number of words in an article, and determining the subject matter by the number of times a specific keyword is repeated, Google algorithms look at the whole body of work as a whole. Google is looking for a natural approach in language and is also calculating how long each visitor is staying on the article page. The longer you stay on a website, the more content you find interesting and valuable.
