With Atlanta search engine optimization, content is king.
This means that Google looks for content and is interested in the validity and relevancy of that content in relation to a content search. When people look for information or reviews on a product, they want to see content that will help them reach their goal. And, with the increased need for optimized keyword results, the world of SEO has been drastically changed over the last ten years. Search engines, too, had to change to accommodate the increase in websites. Google, and many other search engines, read the content on your page and determine how relevant it is to each search query. Article writing, therefore, has become an effective means of optimizing a web page for a desired keyword.
Articles are written differently in three ways.
1. The audience is totally different.
A couple of years ago, articles were didactic in nature. Many times, they were informative, somewhat formal and they covered broad topics that might interest a general reader. They were similar to the articles you would find in magazines or newspapers. When the needs of the consumers began to change, however, article writing had to change with it. You would have to look pretty hard to find long, boring articles nowadays. In fact, those types of articles do not do well in Google because they are not as relevant as shorter articles. Through extensive research, Google has found that shorter, one topic articles written in a casual tone offer the best relevancy.
2. Demands have changed.
Article writing demands have altered the way articles are written for SEO purposes. Now, you cannot simply write whatever they want to write, and post it up in multiple locations and claim to have lots of unique and valuable content on the web. Google is smart enough to catch you when you try to duplicate content. Thus, 100 posts of the same article is only considered one original article to Google. The other 99 merely strengthen the value of the first. Therefore, to become an effective SEO article writer, you cannot produce just one article. Google likes fresh, unique content. Article writing has become an art with subtle elements of strategy within it. Once you have become proficient at article writing, you are halfway there to becoming a professional search engine optimizer.
3. Technology has changed.
The advent of new algorithms in search engines, particularly Google, has changed the way articles are written. With years of slight changes to algorithms, Google seems to be able to "read" the content of articles and interpret the phrases. It is totally intuitive in its ability to determine relevancy, quality of writing, and topic. Google is now focusing on determining rank based, in part, on how long visitors stay on the website. The principle is that visitors will stay on a website to read articles. The longer they stay, the more interesting and valuable the content must be.
