Finding a Permanent Yeast Infection Cure
One of the biggest sellers in any pharmacy is the yeast infection cure largely due to the fact that a yeast infection is so easy to diagnose, the symptoms are so awful and finding a treatment is so urgent.

These creams and OTC treatments are widely available and can work really well, but have you ever read the label and seen what the active ingredients are?

Some people find that their signs go away within hours - others have to finish the container to get any reduction in their symptoms at all. But either way, once you have completed the course you want to be cured right? Now bear in mind that even though these creams can start working within a day or two, it always pays to keep treating for two weeks to get the full effect. According to the labels on these tubes of creams you should have completely eradicated your infection by the end of the treatment.

If that is true, why do so many of us have to cope with recurring infections? In fact some women have to contend with that itch and burn days after stopping treatment for their last infection!

Let's look briefly at what has caused the infection and those God-awful symptoms.

Candida albicans is the technical name for the fungus that is causing all your trouble This fungus lives on the surface of the skin on all of us. It's a highly effective and important part of your immune system and usually helps to destroy dangerous bacteria. However sometimes one thing causes the yeast to overgrow and it starts to attack your healthy system instead!

When this happens we begin to experience the burning and itching signs that we associate with a yeast infection There are numerous contributing factors that act as triggers for this overgrowth that may include problems with your immune system, hormonal fluctuations, drugs, the way we dress, the cosmetics and bathing products that we use on our bodies and even the food that we eat.

You have probably heard that oral antibiotics are one of the most common triggers.

This occurs because the antibiotic kills the good bacteria that helps keep the Candida growth at regular levels. When taking any type of oral antibiotic, you should also try to eat a few spoonfuls of natural yogurt once or twice day by day both while they are taking them and for a time afterward. Yogurt contains lactobacillus acidophilus, a live however good form of micro organism, which feeds on yeast. Many women find that by doing this they feel better while on the antibiotics and avoid the imbalance of Candida that often accompanies them.

The key to getting your yeast infection under control is to use Candida or thrush treatments as soon as you feel the initial warning signals, this will both help to relieve your symptoms and stop another outbreak.

There are many other reasons for your outbreak, but the key to stopping your yeast infection recurring is to address the cause of the Candida overgrowth and deal with it properly. A Candida cure it might be as simple as making small changes to your bathing routine or clothing.

For more serious or systemic infections It might also mean that you need to look at following a program like Yeast Infection No More that looks at your infection holistically. By doing so not only will you get a permanent yeast infection cure, but you will also look and feel a lot better within yourself.
