Anyone can learn to use Photoshop
Anyone can learn to use Photoshop
There are actually quite a few reasons why Photoshop is considered the very best photo editing software in the world. For one thing, it is very easy to learn how to Photoshop. Even if you cannot learn how to use it simply through experience, there are plenty of resources online that will help you get started. There are video tutorials, articles, blogs, and even entire websites dedicated to teaching people how to use this program. You cannot image just how powerful this software really is.

There are three well-known tricks that you can use to improve the quality of a photo. These techniques can be used effectively whether you are trying to retouch a worn family photo or freshly printed vacation pictures.

Contrast and Brightness controls. When photos are taken outdoors, they tend to have areas of over and under exposure. With a little click and drag action, though, you can make the necessary adjustments and turn a good photo in a great one. The only problem you might face using these adjustments is that particularly shaded areas may become solid black or light areas may become solid white. It is better to adjust smaller sections than the entire picture. Just use the lasso tool to select the area and proceed with caution.

Levels are somewhat similar to the brightness and contrast sliders. The difference, however, is that instead of altering the image, you actually pull light or shadow into inputs and outputs. This is probably the most common type of adjustment and is great for getting rid of grey or dull areas and really just adding dynamic contrast.

The curve tool. It is been said that this is the most powerful tool to learn when learning how to Photoshop. With it, you can adjust brightness and contrast, dynamic quality, and richness with the click of a mouse. There are two ways you can use this tool.

Use the graph. With the graph, you put a few points on a grid and pull the graph to adjust the picture.

You can use the eye droppers. With this method, it takes only moments to adjust your photo. It is really easy because Photoshop does all the work for you. All you need to do is select the light eye dropper and click on the lightest area of the picture. Then, select the dark eye dropper and click on the darkest area. Once you are done, you hit ok in the dialogue box and let Photoshop do its thing.

If you think you would like to learn how to Photoshop , search for articles and blogs online. An even better idea, look for video tutorials that show you how to use this program step-by-step.
