Acid Reflux Relief an Alternative Natural Treatment
Acid reflux relief with an alternative natural treatment is a superior way not only to lessen the symptoms, but also to actually bring healing to the cause of the problem in your body.

Acid reflux also known as gerd (gastroesophageal reflux disease) causes stomach acids to flow up into the esophagus, which causes all the discomfort in the throat and chest and the stomach pain and indigestion.

Just Say No to Drugs

You may be thinking, "I don't know if natural medicines will really help me". Well, guess what, doctors don't know if the drugs will really help you either----really.

The pharmaceutical companies tell doctors that these drugs "may" help. It will take determination and discipline for you to get rid of acid reflux. I know because I did it.

My struggle with gastric acid reflux got to the point where my stomach hurt when I drank water---I am not kidding. I got tired of the doctors using me for a guinea pig and feeling no better. The acid reflux pain just went on and on.

This Is Science Not VooDoo

Acid reflux relief alternative natural treatment is based on science. There are plants that have grown from the beginning of time that have healing properties for those of us wanting to be free from pain and discomfort.

An example of these would be licorice (no, not the candy you buy in the store) that is used in treating stomach ulcers and acid reflux disease.

Aloe vera is wonderful for soothing the esophagus and reducing the swelling, so less heartburn. Ahhhh, what a relief! If taken before eating a meal, your digestion can be easier so maybe your tummy will not hurt so much.

Another reflux remedy is apple cider vinegar, which restores the alkaline balance to the intestinal tract thereby allowing the body to digest food easier. It is best to take apple cider vinegar following your meals.

Ginger aids your digestion and absorbs excess stomach acids. And there is so much more we can talk about in future articles.

You Are What You Eat

We've heard that sooo many times, right? Those of us with acid reflux indigestion need to take our diet very seriously. Alkaline foods cause less stomach acids to be needed for digestion so the acid reflux is neutralized.

I gave up fast foods over a period of months----talk about withdrawal---omg!! Now, if I take a bite of a friend's fast food (as I sit eating my bag lunch that is so yummy) it's not appealing at all--yuk! It tastes mostly like salt and grease.

Baby Steppin'

Rome wasn't built in a day and neither is a healthy body . . . after years of abuse. Acid reflux indigestion didn't just appear out of nowhere and for no reason.

There is a personality type that is more prone to developing this great discomfort, which we'll discuss more soon. The acid reflux relief alternative natural treatment that I live and that I am sharing with you is a process of recovery. It is NOT to be rushed.

Take it easy----this took me SO long to learn. This is a whole body and mind healing that will bring greater joy and peace to you and those you love.

You don't think it's fun living with someone like us when we're in pain do you? Take baby steps, be kind to yourself and let the healing begin!
