Whats the Deal with Free PLR
Internet Marketing Author: Sam Samson
Whats the Deal with Free PLR
There is PLR everywhere at the moment, ranging from free PLR articles, MRR graphics to entire eBooks and websites, wherever you look, the internet is rife with ready-made content. Love it or hate it you do need content to make your site appear more authoritive in the eyes of the search engines and more importantly, your customers.

Now most people that I know don't know how to write for the internet and can't afford ghostwriters to write for them. This is where private label rights articles come in. When it comes to private label rights content there is a huge chasm in peoples views.

Some see it and use it as 'spider fodder'. A way to get a massive amount of backlinks with the minimum amount of effort. Some go even further and take those articles and put them through crazy spinners so that by the time the article is finished with it seems to speak in a language that only the spiders can understand. Others pay top dollar for their private label rights articles and tweak them to suit their purpose and product. So the big question is what is the difference between free PLR and PLR rights articles that you have to pay for? Are Free PLR articles only good as spider bait or can they have some use for real people? And what is the difference between using free private label rights articles and using articles from a directory?

To answer these questions properly you need to look at who is giving you the articles, why they are doing it and what PLR rights are attched to it. Is the person new to the world of Private label rights articles? Maybe they have just opened up their PLR store and want to get some feedback on their writing and are giving away articles to get it. These types of deals usually produce really good PLR because the seller is going to be giving you their best work so that they get the best testimonials for their site.

Sometimes you may get free PLR in return for joining a mailing list. That's OK if you like the quality of the content provided and want to keep using the writer as a source for your articles. You will also get first dibs on knowing when they have special deals running and when they get new packs out that might be relevant to you.

In some cases free PLR means signing up to a membership site where you can have all the PLR that you want for free, so long as when you use it you keep the links contained within it intact " this is little different from using articles from article directories. You get the content, but someone else gets the links.

Some private label rights articles are not technically free but are priced so low that you have to wonder about the quality of the articles. These are packs that contain 30 articles but that are priced at $5 for the entire set.

Many people buy once from stores that do this but rarely buy from them again after seeing the quality of the articles. With these types of pack it is also common to find that there is restriction on the PLR rights and no consistency in the writing. This means that all that the vendor has done is collect a few article packs or got someone to write the articles very cheaply and put them together in one pack. You might find that trying to rewrite these articles takes far longer and far more effort than the little that you have spent on them.

Writers Resource: Those are just a few tips to keep you from wasting money on a PLR site that has content that you really can't use effectively or that has weird PLR rights attached. Once you find a supplier of good free PLR, stick with them as they will give you a huge business advantage.
